On the south-east coast of Kefalonia island, in the village of "Skala" on the waterfront of the beach is where "Tara Beach Hotel" can be found."Tara Beach" hotel is a charming establishment, a perfect choice for all visitors wishing to spend their holidays on a beach hotel, in a cosmopolitan resort area and at the same time being in a quiet and peaceful environment.
"Tara beach" is a family-run property offering to its guests a homey feel with quality services and facilities. "Skala" is a typical Kefalonian village which through the years has evolved into one of the most noted holiday resorts with various types of accommodation and offered services, many of them along the village's coastline. At "Skala", visitors can enjoy a collection of restaurants, bar/cafes and shops, many of them spread along the coast.
Skala has a 4 km apprx long sandy beach and it is within a short walk from the property. Along the beach, there are some well-organized parts with sunbeds, umbrellas, beach bars and water sports services for those looking for privacy and tranquillity there are quieter/isolated sections.
Certain areas of the beach are starting points for daily cruises and excursion companies to the neighbouring islands and parts of the coastline.
The hotel is within a few meters of the main commercial road in "Skala", it is a 5-10 minute apprx walk from a variety of bars, cafes, restaurants and many other facilities and services, a 50 minute drive apprx to the capital of the island, "Argostoli".
