The traditional courtyard summerhouses of “Old Arabia” have inspired the beautifully designed stand-alone, two-storey residential retreats of Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf, which represent the premium accommodation within the Madinat Jumeirah resort, suiting guests seeking a more intimate hideaway within the resort. Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf lives up to its translation of ‘Summerhouse’ with guests being enveloped by a mood of relaxation and escape. Each of the 29 ‘houses’ features 8 - 11 rooms and suites which are extended across the resort grounds, surrounded by landscaped gardens, with some located on the beachfront.Linked by waterways to all resort areas, guests can travel from Dar Al Masyaf by water taxi to Al Qasr, Talise Spa, the bustling Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Mina A’ Salam, one of the many restaurants, or any event held within the resort. Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf offers two villa types, Gulf and Arabian; each villa offers between 8 and 11 luxurious self-contained guest rooms and suites, each with their own personal butler service and discreet in-suite check-in service. All villas benefit from privileged locations within the resort, with the Gulf Villas offering superb access to the beach. There are a total of 283 rooms and suites in 29 clusters, each a minimum of 60m². A shared traditional Arabic courtyard is at the centre of each villa, guests also have privileged access to a private pool, located in the centre of each cluster.Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf forms part of the Madinat Jumeirah resort along with Al Qasr and Mina A’ Salam hotels. All three components share the luxurious Talise Spa, The Quay Health Club, Sinbad’s Kid’s Club, private beach facilities and magnificent views of the Burj Al Arab and the Arabian Gulf. At the centre of the resort complex is the authentic Souk with 75 boutique-style open-shuttered shops and intimate galleries, with over 40 restaurants, cafes and bars. A series of waterways link all resort areas which are serviced by abras (water taxis); guests can also stroll from one part of the resort to the other.
