Riva Rossa is a newly built villa complex for discerning customers. Riva Rossa is a newly built villa complex for discerning customers. Situated in Loggos, the most upmarket residential area of Lixouri, the villas have magnificent sea views over Argostoli Bay and offer a serene environment for the most idyllic of holidays. The Riva Rossa complex comprises four, entirely separate, 70 sq. m. two-bedroomed villas, with their own gardens, private pools and car parks. All constructed from high quality materials and equipped with the latest design high quality fabrics and furniture, offering a sense of luxury and class to their customers. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers/WC and all necessary kitchen appliances and cooking utensils. The Villas have a covered terrace leading to the pool, with seating and sun loungers, whilst hedges separate the large garden from those of the other villas.

Although the villas are primarily Self-Catering Units, breakfast can also be available On Request.  

Free Wi-Fi is available at the Riva Rossa complex.

Riva Rossa enjoys the proximity of a local residential sandy beach, which is just about 100 meters in front of the villas. However, the villas are also only 500m away from Lepeda, Lixouri’s famous organized sandy beach, sporting changing rooms, a shower, a volley ball net, and most importantly a small taverna right on the sand. Enjoying an evening drink at Lepeda beach is an idyllic experience. A second taverna is also available at the corner of the top road just above the beach.

The town of Lixouri is only 2km from Riva Rossa boasting a large town square with cafes/restaurants, as well as a pedestrian area and a nice sea front promenade for strolling, and many shops and bars.

The famous beaches of Petani, Xi, Megas Lakkos, Agia Eleni, Lagadakia and Porto Atheras are all situated around the Paliki peninsula, between 15 to 30 minutes away from Riva Rossa. Equally, in around 25 minute drive, up on the Lixouri highest hills, you can visit the traditional village of Rifi, which was not destroyed in the 1953 earthquake and retains the old Kefalonian architecture. Nearby is the village of Damoulianata, where you can enjoy an evening dinner at the “Ladokolla” taverna and see a panoramic view of the wonderful sunset over the Ionian sea.

The journey from the airport to Riva Rossa villas is approx. 1h, if you choose to travel to Lixouri via the road around the Argostoli Gulf. Otherwise you can travel from the Airport to Argostoli Port (around 17 min) and then take the ferry to Lixouri (approx. 25 min) departing every half hour in peak season (visit https://www.ionianseaferries.gr/en/lixouri-argostoli-pessada-zakinthos.html for updated info.)
