Set in the Noonu Atoll, Velaa Private Island is a luxurious resort offering a secluded tropical experience. The resort features 47 private villas, houses, and residences, many of which are suspended over the water and all featuring a private pool and butler service. Accommodation options include the Beach Pool Villa, Sunrise Water Pool Villa, and the exclusive Romantic Pool Residence, which is accessible only by boat. All villas are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, outdoor terraces, and spacious bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. Guests can enjoy a range of facilities, including a spa with the only snow room in the Maldives, a state-of-the-art gym, and various water sports. The resort also boasts the Velaa Golf Academy, designed by José María Olazábal, which is the only Troon Short Game Golf Academy in the Maldives. For dining, the property offers several restaurants and bars, including the Teppanyaki grill at Tavaru tower, which also houses an extensive wine cellar.
