The hotel is approximately 65km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 1.5km from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.Built in 1966 and extensively renovated during the summer of 2006, the modern Hotel Club Cala Marsal has a total of 347 guest rooms, including 283 standard twin rooms and a further 64 singles, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst almost 4,800m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens, around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have exterior views over the garden and pool area towards the sea.In addition to the above features, a number of rooms at the Hotel Club Cala Marsal have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with an integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
