This attractive, luxury hotel is fabulously located in Madrid's main shopping area, near to the Royal Palace and the university. Scores of shops and entertainment venues as well as great tourist attractions are easily discovered on foot or using the local public transport.The building was built in 1976 and completely renovated in 2003. It offers a total of 128 guestrooms spread over 7 floors, of which 11 are singles and 103 doubles and 14 are suites. The hotel has a large, relaxing garden, a spacious lobby with lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and a 24-hour reception. Additional facilities include a shop, a hairdresser's salon, a newspaper stand, a café, a TV room, a café, a pub, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with separate non-smoking area. There is a conference room and Internet access available for business guests. Additional services include a room and laundry service as well as medical assistance. The hotel also features a bicycle storage facility and parking facilities.The smartly furnished en suite rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, a telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio and Internet access.
