##Description **Rosa Magra Guest House** offers cosy rooms and is located directly on the famous Corso Italia, just a short walk from Piazza Tasso, in the heart of Sorrento. The beach, with sand and pebbles, and the equipped wooden platform, which can be reached by bus or on foot via steps, are about 600 metres away. The hotel is within easy reach of major local attractions such as the Duomo with a Neo-gothic facade and the church of San Francesco d'Assisi with a fourteenth-century cloister. Capodichino Airport in Naples can be reached in about an hour and thirty minutes by car. This cosy guest house, which in the nineteenth century was a typical inn and a meeting point for artists and writers of the Grand Tour, is housed on the first floor of a recently renovated building. It took its name from its lovely owner, Rosa, who in 1800 managed the oldest inn in Sorrento, where writers and painters such as Ibsen, Lamartine, Goethe, Preller, Stendhal and Heyse stayed and composed their works, inspired by the bucolic atmosphere that characterised it. Today it is managed by Gaia, the heir of one of Rosa's great-grandchildren. Check-in operations with key card delivery are performed directly on site (03:00pm to 09:00pm). Check-in time must be reported in advance over the phone. The partner pool on the back of the property is available at an additional cost (daily fee per person payable locally).
