Over the years, Bali has spread out along the pretty coves, discovering one hidden beach after another. The rugged scenery of hills behind it hides Bali from the national highway, which links it to Heraklion and Rethymnon, two of Crete’s major towns. Xidas Garden is set up on a small incline built into the hillside, surrounded by olive groves and citrus trees with views of the village. The beach is about a 200m walk downhill, with the resort center a few hundred meters further, but both are easily accessible. There is a large swimming pool with a poolside bar, perfect for relaxing around on those lazy days. The hotel also offers a comfortable reception with a lounge and a restaurant (breakfast, lunch, and dinner available) with a veranda overlooking the pool. The rooms have twin or double beds, and they offer air conditioning, a shower, a WC, a telephone, safety deposit boxes, and private balconies or terraces. The rooms and apartments are well-equipped with modern furnishings and fridges. All rooms are light, airy, and inviting, making your stay more than welcoming the whole time you are here.
