LOCATION
The Elysium is situated on the beach in the historical heartland of the ancient city of Paphos, next to the historical site of the Tombs of the Kings. It is only a 10 minute drive from the picturesque harbour of Paphos, 25 minutes from Paphos International Airport and 90 minutes from Larnaca International Airport.

THE GARDENS
Visit the hotel’s grounds, and be inspired by the landscaped gardens, with direct access to the Tombs of the Kings. Scents of jasmine and citrus fill the air, as do the aromas of the olive trees and array of flowers. Settle for a moment in the outdoor amphitheatre and behold the marvellous sunset. Thereafter, follow the lavender-lined path down to the sea. Along the way, stop by the sparkling multi-level swimming pools. Having reached the beach, venture down the pedestrian path adjacent to the shoreline, which leads all the way down to Paphos harbour.

RISTORANTE BACCO
Ristorante Bacco offers guests a complete dining experience: a delicious meal in a warm and intimate setting.Authentic Italian cuisine – with highlights from Tuscany – is captured in a sumptuous menu that includes homemade pasta dishes, tender meat and fish specialties, and the most popular Italian desserts, all based on original recipes and made from fresh ingredients. Allow us to recommend a matching Italian wine, or come to the glass-fronted storage cellar to taste and choose a wine for yourself. Whether you prefer a table indoors or in the sunken courtyard outside, sit back and enjoy the unique gastronomic experience that Bacco offers.

MEDITERRANEO RESTAURANT
(May-Oct - weather permitted) Mere steps away from the sea, the open-air Mediterraneo Restaurant serves a delicious array of Cypriot and Mediterranean specialities. An open kitchen and wooden furniture enhance this inviting restaurant’s ambience, which combines traditional décor with a touch of class. Mediterraneo is open daily for lunch and dinner. No visitor should leave the island without tasting Mediterraneo’s delights, which include local favourites, including fresh fish, pasta, refreshing salads, and a great variety of indulgent snacks.

EPICUREAN RESTAURANT
Epicurean’s creative flair and superior service ensure that a mere meal metamorphoses into an unforgettable occasion. Nestled at the end of a grand Venetian corridor framed by palatial arches, Epicurean’s exquisite space is accented with harmonious olive green tones, and unique Murano glass chandeliers. Diners are invited to indulge in a rich buffet presenting different international cuisines nightly, with live cooking stations serving to further inspire diners’ senses.Between the months of May and October, Epicurean’s expansive chic French doors open up onto the eatery’s terrace framed by lush greenery and string lights affording guests the luxury of al fresco dining: a simply spectacular setting.

LEMONIA PIAZZA
With its bright and cheerful décor, it is no wonder that Lemonia Piazza has made a name for itself for delivering one of the most indulgent breakfast experiences island-wide. A brilliant display of breakfast goods – spanning freshly baked pastries and breads, charcuteries and cheeses, and hot delights – as well as à la minute cooking stations tempt guests on a daily basis. Coffees, teas, and fresh juices serve as the ideal accompaniments, alongside champagne: because the start of every day should be celebrated as a special occasion! Whether seated inside, or outside on the terrace, diners can also anticipate availing themselves of our à la carte lunch and dinner menu, whilst our younger guests can expect to be delighted by our dedicated children’s menu.

O’ SHIN RESTAURANT
Dignified and yet simplistic, O’Shin’s intimate space gives guests the opportunity to explore a selection of refined, pan-Asian gastronomic delights. Fawn-coloured oak wood utilised throughout the eatery lends to its elegant setting, which has been further embellished with oriental-styled latticed partitions, and soft, cherry-hued lighting. Whilst hot dishes – a diverse range of starters and mains are prepared behind the scenes, the variety of sushi, sashimi, and maki is brought to life at the dedicated sushi counter, establishing an exciting dialogue between diner and chef. In completing their Asian journey, guests can anticipate enjoying a smooth cup of Sake, or savouring the aromas of O’Shin’s selection of teas.

BARS
CAFÉ OCCIDENTAL
Chic, contemporary, and cosmopolitan, Café Occidental pulses with energy from dawn until dusk, providing guests with an indulgent all-day menu of gourmet sandwiches and salad delights. The outlet’s layout is reminiscent of a Parisian patisserie, complete with an inviting pastry display. Guests can even take a slice of Café Occidental heaven home with them, thanks to our dedicated pastry boxes. As the sun peaks in the sky, Café Occidental becomes home to one of the most beloved British traditions: afternoon tea. Of course, if desiring of a quiet space to read a book or newspaper, guests may simply wander into the adjacent library. With the setting sun, delicious cocktails galore begin to emerge from behind the bar: pair with a cheese or charcuterie platter for an unequivocally refined evening.

MARE NOSTRUM POOL BAR (May-Oct - weather permitted)
Savour sipping on your favourite drink without leaving the pool at Mare Nostrum Pool Bar. A pavilion of cool refreshments – from soft drinks and freshly squeezed juices, to exotic cocktails – whatever you desire to quench your thirst is close at hand. Should you find yourself feeling hungry, indulge in our light bite selection, spanning a variety of pizzas, cold sandwiches and other light snacks.

ASTRIA BAR
Themed around the night sky’s glittering constellations, Bar Astria is ideal for enjoying your favourite drinks whilst sharing moments of private conversation with friends and family. Whether seated indoors or outside beneath the pergola-covered terraces overlooking the Lethe Spring – which is beautifully lit up at night – this is the place to meet and enjoy the offerings of our well-stocked bar, inclusive of a range of cocktails, premium whiskies, and even the right cigar to go with your preferred cognac. Live music performances on most nights of the week ensure an unforgettable evening.

LEISURE FACILITIES
The impressive free-form outdoor pool is the focal point of the hotel’s gardens and has a multi-level design, centred around a hydro-massage rotunda pool. If relaxation and pampering are what you have in mind, the Opium Health Spa featuring a variety of ESPA treatments will deliver all you could ever hope for. For the more energetic, scuba diving courses are available, as well as two floodlit tennis courts, a high-tech gym, and aerobics and Pilates studios, all with private instructors. As for the golf enthusiasts 4 Golf Courses are available within 30 minutes from the hotel. Those who appreciate culture will enjoy the live performances staged at the Orpheus amphitheatre. Angel’s Kids Club & Crèche
A supervised children’s club (3-12 years) operates during the Christmas, New Year, and Easter periods, as well as from April to October (10:00-13:00 & 14:00-17:00). Further to an indoor amusement centre, there is an outdoor, shaded children’s pool. Parents of infants aged 4 to 35 months can engage in exploring the Elysium’s surroundings and its facilities whilst feeling at ease in the knowledge that their child is being lovingly tended to by trained professional staff members. Baby sitting services are available upon request (24- hour notice is required). High chairs are provided in all restaurants, with children’s menus available in both the Lemonia Piazza, and Mediterraneo Restaurant.

ACCOMMODATION

The Elysium encompasses 250 rooms and suites designed to cater to couples, families, and business travellers. Each room type differs in space and spirit, and comes complete with a variety of amenities to suit the wants and needs of all manner of traveller. The maximum occupancy indicated below can be achieved via a combination of adults and children (except if indicated that the room or suite is reserved exclusively for adults). Moreover, one extra child’s bed and cot, or three single children’s beds can be provided in the Elysium Suites to accommodate a maximum number of 5 persons. Baby cots are not over and above the maximum capacities indicated for each accommodation type. DELUXE BEDROOMS
Infused with sophisticated romanticism, our Deluxe Bedrooms are the epitome of luxury: inviting, inspiring, and individual. ROYAL STUDIOS
The Elysium’s 12 Royal Studios are fittingly housed in the hotel’s colonnaded megaron: a stately structure named for the great hall adorning palace complexes in ancient Greece, used for royal functions and feasts. With cool tiled floors and textured painted ecru-coloured walls, the spacious studios are tied together by energising aqua, sun burnt orange, and subtle flush accents. Further to an indulgent double four-poster bed and vanity table, each room comes complete with a comfortable, traditional-inspired seating area – thanks to the woven wicker sofa – espresso station, and an en-suite bathroom with both a bathtub and separate shower stall.
