HOTEL This hotel comprises a total of 401 guest rooms, including 34 suites, either located in a traditional low-rise hotel building or clustered throughout the property in 90 2-storey casitas with 2 to 4 rooms each. It has restaurants, bars, a cafe, a business centre, meeting rooms, conference facilities and car rental services. It offers 24-hour room service, a baby-sitting service, supervised childrens programmes, a bellboy service, a luggage store, concierge and laundry services (charges apply), a car park, Internet access, wheelchair access and private transportation. Further facilities on offer to guests include a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a hairdressing salon. LOCATION The property is surrounded by jungle and crystal-clear canals, situated in an eco-hotel community some 40 minutes south of Cancun, on the Yucatan Peninsula. It is 15 minutes away from Playa del Carmen. ROOM The guest rooms and suites enjoy jungle, lagoon, golf course, pool or beach views. Room amenities include 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds (some units include a sofa bed and a living area) and a spacious marble bathroom with a soaker tub, a separate glass-walled shower stall, a hairdryer and a double dressing table. Large sliding doors open to furnished balconies or terraces. Each room offers individually adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, Internet access, a DVD player, a radio, a stereo system with CD player, an iron and ironing board, an in-room safe and a telephone. SPORT The hotel features small motor boats for the lagoon, golf carts, an 18-hole, par-72 golf course (charges apply) and bicycles, as well as a health club with spa treatments (for an additional fee) and a gym with electronic cardiovascular equipment, weights, gym instructors, personal trainers, yoga masters and a view of the forest marsh. Guests can also relax in the spa and the 5 outdoor swimming pools (including 1 childrens swimming area). The hotel also offers activities and excursions such as diving in cenotes (natural underground caves, pools and wells), adventure walks in the jungle and horse riding on the beach in Loma Bonita.
