«Porto Platanias Village Resort» was planned and built from the start as a traditional Cretan village â a âvillage within a villageâ in Platanias â with small picturesque paths, squares and gardens full of flowers. «Porto Platanias Village Resort» is constantly popular for families, as it offers many amenities for people travelling with small kids. During recent years, it has also become increasingly popular for couples, for the tranquility and real relaxation it offers its guests. Despite its quietness and peaceful surroundings, «Porto Platanias Village Resort» is located in the center of Platanias, the most well-known resort in West Crete, just 12 Km away from the city of Chania and 20 Km from the airport. This means that all the excellent infrastructure for travelers that Platanias offers are in really short walking distance. This way, youâll never run short of taverns, restaurants, cafes and bars, but also of super markets and mini markets, banks, pharmacies, specialty shops, childrenâs playgrounds etc. Not to forget the amazing, 4 km long sandy beach of Platanias, one of the best in Crete. «Porto Platanias Village Resort» features a fine restaurant serving local and international specialties and a pool bar / snack bar â all open throughout the day. The hotel is located in a large plot full of gardens with palm trees and flowers. «Porto Platanias Village Resort» has one of the biggest pools in its class â a huge 850 sq. m pool, with a 10 sq. m safe childrenâs pool in its side. Sun beds and parasols by the pool are free for all the hotelâs guests. There is a bar which serves the guests refreshing cocktails at late hours and for the younger guests a fully equipped playground with a creativity kiosk.
