Taro unites architecture, interior design, and storytelling to create a coherent and purposeful experience. Every design decision reflects a principle of awareness: local materials, energy efficiency, and collaboration with Canarian suppliers and artisans. It's a project that understands beauty as a form of care and hospitality as an opportunity to generate a positive impact.
The hotel occupies an 1980s office building transformed into contemporary accommodation. The building, with a ground floor and seven upper floors, houses thirty-three rooms, three of which have terraces, and a private pool on the top floor. Entrance: The entrance on Pérez Galdós Street integrates the self-check-in area, featuring a work by Canarian artist José Herrera, and a shared table where guests can work or wait for someone. Ground Floor: On the ground floor, also open to the city, is Chicharro, a space offering a restaurant and café.
