The THB El Cid is an adults only hotel standing on the seafront in Playa de Palma. Directly overlooking the beach, it boasts splendid sea views. The hotel is well communicated, just 5 km from the airport and a few minutes’ drive from the island’s capital, Palma. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Law 2/2016 of the Regional Government of the Balearic Islands outlines the tax on tourist stays, which is applied to all clients over 16 years of age. Its value for four-star hotels is €3 per person/day**. There are two cases in which the tourist tax is reduced***: -A 50% reduction will apply to stays of more than 8 days in the same hotel and will only be applicable from the 9th day forward. -A 75% reduction will also apply to stays between November 1st and April 30th. *The tourist tax will be collected directly at the hotel on arrival. ** The rates indicated do not include VAT, which will be added on. A day means 12 PM to 12 PM the following day. Shorter stays will be considered stays of 1 day, provided that they exceed 12 hours. *** The aforementioned reductions are cumulative.

Cancellation policy

o If the booking is cancelled with more than 7 days before the arrival, no penalty;

o If the booking is cancelled between 7 and 5 days before the arrival, the hotel charges 1 night as a penalty;

o If the booking is cancelled between 4 and 1 days before the arrival, the hotel charges 2 nights as a penalty,

o If the booking is cancelled with 24 hours before the arrival or no show, the hotel charges the full amount of the reservation.

Discover the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea from the rooms of our sea-view hotel, which have been renovated to offer a unique experience. Our guests have 24-hour reception at their disposal and enjoy free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel has 2 outdoor swimming pools: the main pool next to the promenade with stunning sea views and the "El Molino" pool with Balinese beds, located in a more secluded area at the rear of the hotel.

The free wellness area with heated indoor pool, sauna, and Turkish bath is one of the amenities that our 4-star hotel offers for you to enjoy a relaxing stay. In addition, it has a massage room where you can choose from different types of massages and treatments at an additional cost. The hotel has various sports facilities, such as a bicycle garage with a workshop, a tennis court, and a gym.

The hotel features a buffet restaurant, a lounge bar, and a pool bar where you can enjoy à la carte lunches and delicious cocktails during the day. Available meal plans are breakfast and half board.
