HOTEL This family-friendly hotel features classical Mexican architecture and is ideal for business travellers and holidaymakers alike. It comprises a total of 287 guest rooms, distributed in a 3-storey building. It is surrounded by ample gardens and set on the beach. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and lift access. There is a hairdressing salon, bars and restaurants as well as a tobacconists, a gift shop and a handcrafts workshop. Guests have conference facilities and WLAN Internet access at their disposal as well as car rental and a doctor-on-call. They can also take advantage of the 24-hour room service and laundry service and there is a car park, valet parking and bicycle hire available. LOCATION This hotel enjoys a beachfront location in Playa del Carmen. Guests will find restaurants, bars, shops and nightspots 100 m from the hotel and the famous theme park of Xcaret is only 5 minutes away. The famous island of Cozumel is 45 minutes away by ferry and it is 60 minutes to Cancun International Airport. ROOM All rooms come with a separate entrance area with seating, a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and a vanity mirror and offer a king-size bed or 2 double beds. They are appointed with handmade colonial style furniture and are equipped with a direct dial telephone with voicemail, cable TV, an AM/FM alarm clock/radio, a safe and a minibar. Furthermore, an electronic door-locking system, tea and coffee making facilities a fan and air conditioning are provided in all accommodation as standard and some rooms feature a terrace. ADITIONAL A continental breakfast is on offer to guests daily. SPORT There are fun activities for children and adults on offer including free diving demonstrations, kayaking and sailing instruction. Guests can also enjoy beach and land-based sports such as swimming, water motorcycling, basketball, soccer and beach volleyball. Activities with additional charges are also available, such as wave running, jungle tours, tours to Isla Mujeres, Cancun Queen and others. This hotel features an outdoor swimming pool with a childrens swimming area as well as sun loungers and parasols. Guests can join an aqua fit or aerobics class or work out in the gym. It is possible to relax in the hot tub, sauna or steam room or with a massage or spa treatment. Golf fans can play a round of their favourite sport and the hotel organises programmes of entertainment for adults and children. Moreover, sun loungers and parasols are available for use on the sandy beach.
