City Gate Airport Hotel sits a five-minute car journey from Macedonia International Airport in Thessaloniki, and is just a short distance from the city center. Within a few kilometers are some of the most beautiful coasts of Halkidiki and Perea on the same route and the monastic state of Mount Athos. You can also visit the Cosmos and Apollonian malls in just a few minutes, as well as the Ikea mall, Leroy Merlin, Hondo’s center, Jumbo, and in a walking distance from the Casino Hotel Hyatt.
The hotel is existing to fulfill very specific requirements. It is used, therefore, first and foremost by business people or people awaiting connecting flights.
From the exterior, it is plain - opting for a modernist design that is in keeping with its green surroundings. The lobby area is large and bright and provides spaced out couches and low tables that are enjoyable to relax in, due to the brightness of the space. The hotel houses conference and meeting rooms plus a business centre. This makes it a viable option for international businesses in need of conference spaces in a convenient location.
The hotel offers a free shuttle taxi service to and from the airport on request.
