The hotel enjoys an enviable position in the historic Hippodrome of Constantinople area of Istanbul, between Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Most of the historic attractions are within about a 1 kilometreradius but if a visit to the present day city beckons, Taksim Square is approximately 4 kilometres away. Links to the public transport network are within some 100 metres. Atatürk International Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 18 kilometres and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport roughly 46 kilometres.Originally a wooden mansion built at the end of the 19th century, the building became derelict and was rebuilt in the late 1970s/80s preserving its original style and structure. Now furnished in a 19th century winter mansion style, the hotel has a world-wide reputation. The hotel has a restaurant in the lobby area, however during the summer months breakfast is served in the beautiful garden, where it is also possible to enjoy a snack or drink during the day and evening. Comprising 19 guest rooms, the air-conditioned establishment features 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and wireless Internet access. For additional fees guests may take advantage of room and laundry services.The rooms are furnished in the style of a 19th century winter mansion. They have an en suite bathroom with shower/WC, a hairdryer and central heating and air conditioning. All of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms, central heating, air-condition, direct dial telephones, minibars, safe boxes and hair dryers. 24 hours room service, security, free Wi-Fi, power generator, fire alarm and extinguishing systems are also available Non of the hotel rooms except Pasha Suite Room have TV but a comfortable lounge with TV is available for the guests of the hotel.
